Chatham Street (2-19-12)
Chatham Street hit the music scene with their debut CD, “Last One Out”, in October of 2010. Just nine months later, they'd received 13 songwriting awards and placements for four of those songs. The song “Over Now” - a song about the death of Christal's brother - was recently picked up by a Nashville firm to be shopped for movie placement. In 2011, they were invited to perform in Texas, Florida, New Jersey, Tennessee, and California, and were live on NPR's "Acoustic Cafe". They've opened for John McCutcheon, Catie Curtis, Scott Ainslie, Tom Prasada-Rao, and shared the stage with countless other performers at many festivals. They like to call their sound "New Americana", stating it carries multiple musical influences, from old-time gospel, bluegrass, rootsy-folk, but has the edginess of the contemporary rock and pop music they grew up with. Christal’s vocals have been described as a cross between Celtic and southern “down-home”, and they soar over Peter’s tasteful vintage guitar, sounding just like her Scottish-Appalachian heritage. Their second CD, "All That Mattered”, was released on September 10, 2011. The first track on the CD, "White Liar", has already claimed the title of "Finalist" for the 2011 Worldwide Singer Songwriter Contest. "These Days" is a finalist in the 2011 Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest, and "The Gate" has been picked up by a Boston firm.

Gabriele Tranchina (2-12-12)
Something different. Someone different. A world artist, a jazz vocalist, a creative interpreter, a heavenly sound, a woman with a unique view of music, the world, and of singing. This is just a small description of songbird Gabriele Tranchina. She brings to her music a worldview -- using music as a force for wholeness, a source of unity and energy for all. Her latest album “A Song of Love’s Color” (Jazzheads 2010) is the culmination of a lifetime of study, experience, exploration and experimentation. It reveals the depth of the music and the power of the artist who sings it. Collaborating with top New York musicians, Joe Tranchina (her husband) on piano, Grammy Award Nominee Bobby Sanabria, on drums, bassist Santi Debriano and percussionist Renato Thoms, the textures of the songs on this album range from delicate and soothing to dynamic and throbbing, from intricate woven to finely spun. Whether you are a lover of world cultures, of modern jazz, of creative partnership or just gorgeous singing, you will find satisfaction in this collection. Gabriele asks you to join her on this heartfelt musical journey, opening yourself to the joy and peace that music brings us all.

Billy Mitchell (2-5-12)
An unabashed Boomer, his original music resonates, involves and entertains, spanning emotionally from hilarious to heartfelt.
His performance philosophy is “It’s all about the audience... whatever gets them going” as he draws from a large repertoire of cover songs that are like the soundtrack of a generation and his own unique original material.
Billy has been performing for over 25 years on Rhode Island waterfronts and regionally in venues like Boston's Dick’s Last Resort and The House of Blues in L.A. He originally sang in a cappella doo-wop quartet The Hudsons, and is front man for Classic Rock band New York Minute, in addition to solo shows.
He is a published ASCAP songwriter with a catalog of over 50 original songs and is a board member of the Rhode Island Songwriters Association, Billy also produces Radio & TV jingles and other digital media and branding programs with his company JYNGLZ .
With music inspired by the wit of Shel Silverstein and the eccentricity of John Prine, few people can connect with an audience like Billy Mitchell.

The YaYas (1-15-12)
2011 Grassy Hill Kerrville New Folk Finalists The YaYas are a spirited and uplifting New York-based folk pop trio who tell stories in songs that make you think and sometimes laugh – decidedly hope-filled tunes with choruses that get you singing along. These are stories we are all familiar with; the loss of a parent, the humorous ups and downs of a marriage, the dreams of youth, the gift of friendship… all told in a very personal way through the characters that inhabit them. Catherine Miles’ expressive voice is complemented by husband Jay Mafale’s percussive guitar riffs and Paul Silverman’s melodic piano lines to create their distinctive sound. The trio’s 2010 release, Paper Boats, has received airplay on more than 125 radio stations and rose to #4 on the Roots Music Report’s Folk Top 50 albums chart.

Byrd and Street (10-23-11)
Byrd & Street have been performing together for the past 10 years. During this time they have released 3 CD’s and have been nominated for duo of the year by the Texas Music Awards. Tommy Byrd and Kathy Street have been likened to “Lyle Lovett meets Alison Krause,” and their music is a rich blend of award-winning original songs. Their harmonies that have become their tradmark are “tight like the Everly brothers” and Kathy’s sweet pure voice is a perfect contrast to Tommy’s earthy soulful sound.
“Musically, lyrically, and vocally, one of the best shows I’ve ever heard… therapy for the soul. I visited places in my heart I hadn’t visited for years.” A. Vajdos, Rear Window Listening Room
“Wow! .......This is exactly why I keep playing music on the radio for the past 24 years! Byrd & Street are among the best in Texas… among the BEST in the USA… making music out there. Trust me, I get a lot of music here, and this sets the standard! N. Mast ,WVPE Elkhart, IN
